HACU and CircleIn are teaming up to help over 600 colleges and universities accelerate student success, and over 5 million students thrive academically.
50 HACU Member Institutions Get Free Access
to AI Tutoring
Roughly 80% to 90% of students enrolled on college campuses do not go to the tutoring center to get engaged in academic support and resources are too limited to hire enough employees to tutor every student, in every subject, at their homes, within seconds of when a student wants the help.
We are currently offering 50 HACU-member institutions free access to the AI Tutor in Fall 2025 for up to 1,000 students, only pay the $3,500 support fee, which is a savings of $17,500 and there is no long-term commitment involved. Target courses include math, science, nursing, STEM and more. CircleIn also offers evidence-based support to demonstrate improvement in course pass rates and increased credit hours earned.
If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please contact memberinfo@hacu.net before April 30th. You can also watch the AI Tutor Intro video here.

HSI CUNY York Increases STEM Course Pass
Rates with CircleIn...
Dear University Colleagues,
I hope you are doing well as the Spring 2025 semester sets sail. I am writing to you about an incredible student success results with CircleIn. CircleIn is a peer-led learning software application that allows students to collaborate in a secure study-scape.
At York College, we have used CircleIn in a Pilot format over the last year and a half. The Pilot program focused on some of our gateway STEM courses with high “DFW” rates. Immediately, we noticed a reduction in the DFW rates in classes that featured high student engagement with CircleIn. The preliminary results from our Pilot program have been so encouraging that we plan to rollout CircleIn to all of our classes.
With CircleIn, students can ask questions anonymously, create flashcards or share external resources. Even though the learning experience is student-driven, Instructors can use the “Course Feedback” tool to determine where students might be struggling or where to tweak their lectures.
It also bears mentioning that it has been a joy to collaborate with the staff at CircleIn. The company’s founding story is inspirational and the Co-founder, Gerald Meggett, is deeply committed to making CircleIn a premier tool for closing gaps in education. The rest of the personnel – including our rep, Dana Thomas - shares the founding passion and brings a wealth of experience and responsiveness to their interactions with our faculty and staff.
If you are also thinking about shrinking “DFW” rates in STEM courses, don’t hesitate to partner with CircleIn! And if you want to know more about the CircleIn experience at York College, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
